CLOSURE OF INACTIVE AND DORMANT ACCOUNTS WITH PAYTM PAYMENTS BANK LIMITED HAVING NIL BALANCE

Dear Bank Customer,
Please note that all Paytm Payments Bank Accounts which do not have any transactions for last one or more years and have nil balance, shall be closed w.e.f. June 9, 2024.
In case, you are impacted by this notice, you are hereby advised to refer the below section for re-activating these inactive/ dormant accounts before June 9, 2024.
To prevent closure of your inactive account, please make any of the below activities using your Paytm Payments Bank, such as:
- Nomination facility,
- Balance enquiry,
- Net Banking,
- ATM enquiry etc.
To prevent closure of your Dormant / Inoperative account, please reactivate it by following the below process:
- Aadhaar based KYC on App through Video KYC: Using this option, You can do your video KYC at your convenience on the app by tapping on https://m.paytm.me/wal_upg. Video KYC agents are available between 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM. You will need to keep your Aadhaar and PAN handy for verification.
Failure to take the required action within the stipulated time will result in the closure of your account.
