Important update on the security features of your Paytm Payments Bank Debit Card

We hope you are well and are conveniently enjoying the digital transactions experience through your Paytm Payments Bank debit card.

RBI in its circular dated 15th January 2020, has introduced guidelines which mandate banks to disable select transaction categories (e.g. online, international transactions) as applicable, which are yet to be used on a user’s card. This is to prevent potential misuse of cards for any such fraudulent transaction(s).

In compliance with the RBI mandate, India’s most sincere bank is more than excited to bring forth the below changes on your card for additional security:

1. Unused transaction categories will be disabled on your card by 30-Sep-2020
2. You may easily enable/disable transaction categories and setup transaction limits for enabled categories through card management in the bank section of your Paytm app

Few simple steps

1. Update your Paytm App

2. Click on Bank icon

3. Click on Debit Card image

4. Click on Manage Card

5. Click on Change card limit

6. Activate Online Transaction
