Comments from some of the attendees:

Some of the most engaging and informative interactions I had on this topic. There has been a transformation and change of mind about the topic of cybersecurity, from a boring topic which used to instill fear due to lack of information, to one which is exciting and one we need to be up to speed to bring about effective investigation in today’s world.

The ACP of West Bengal CID applauded the effort,

This is a great initiative which we would like to carry forward with support from Paytm and other industry players too.

The event was presided over by prominent names in the legal and financial investigation space: Mr. Vakul Sharma (Advocate, Supreme Court of India), Ms. Rama Vedashree (CEO, DSCI), Sri Harikishore Kusumakar (IPS, ACP, Kolkata City)

What To Expect At Our Cyber Security Conferences

Visitors at these conferences will get a chance to hear from a range of specialists who will cover everything from social engineering to the complete range of cyber attacks including phishing, vishing, account and device takeover among others, their modus operandi, investigation and resolution.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn the skills and tools required to fight and investigate such fraud. Going forward, the bank will hold several conferences across major Indian cities to inform and engage state law enforcement.

We have also developed a pocket guide book on ‘Cybercrime Investigation’ which will act as a quick reference to the investigating officers.

Our CEO, Renu Satti and the Police Chief jointly endorse this move. As Renu rightly believes,

These interactions are a great opportunity for people within the tech industry and law enforcement to come together, network and share expertise to ensure speedy customer redressal in cases of cyber fraud“.
